Horse Ratings.........

1 Docile, easy temperament, not easily bothered by life, calm disposition, more push on than pull back, good for novices or children.

2 Still a generally calm outlook on life, but more forward going and alert.

3 middle type of horse, likely to be a nice hack or general purpose horse. May scare more easily than a type 1 or 2, or be a bit more of a cheeky character. Easily managed by people with some
experience.

4 A more challenging individual, possibly cheeky or flighty, may need reminding of boundaries, and will need consistent handling. Not a first horse type.

5 Forward going horse, aware, alert, possibly flighty or inclined to be pushy. Needs a more experienced home, may make a good competition horse.

If your horse is talented, make sure you can keep up!

Please remember that this rating is what I consider to be the horse's inherent character and temperament - his horsanality!  It can be modified by training or learned behaviours either good or bad.
